In the quest to transform NDMA from Reactive to Pro-Active organization, the current leadership under the command of Chairman NDMA, Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik, Hilal- E – Imtiaz (Military), felt the need of a vibrant platform to gather and network with stakeholders, disaster and relief management professionals under one roof in order to anticipate the challenges ahead, learn from each other’s experiences, collaborate to synergize and manage natural disasters and emergencies in more coordinated and effective ways. This goal would be achieved through incorporation of the concepts of resilience, innovation and collaboration to make Pakistan safer and better prepared.
